Kathleen Exelby

Kathleen Exelby, a licensed professional counselor, established her practice in Scottsdale, Arizona, in 1984. Based in offices at the McDowell Mountain Building at 16700 N Thompson Peak Parkway, Behavioral Therapies Ltd offers counseling services to adults, teens, and children. Exelby studied counseling and art as an undergraduate at the State University of New York. During her third year of college, she went to Britain for a year of study at the University of London. The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., accepted her for post-graduate work in counseling. For the past 27 years, Kathleen Exelby has worked with patients through the upheavals of parenting, divorce, and the death of loved ones. She has the ability to refer cases of ADHD and mood disorders for medication through the patient’s primary care physician. Behavioral Therapies Ltd accepts payment from most reputable insurers. Patients who wish to make private payments may use cash or checks only. Kathleen Exelby maintains membership in good standing with the American Association of Psychotherapists, the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, and the Arizona Counselors Association.
