Kathleen McCombs

Dr. Kathleen McCombs is a periodontal dentistry practitioner based in Draper, Utah. Dr. McCombs’ private practice, SouthTowne Periodontics, serves clients throughout the greater Salt Lake City area, providing an extensive array of treatments for gum disease in addition to oral pathology diagnostic services and cosmetic enhancement procedures. Dr. Kathleen McCombs has built her practice on a foundation of preventative approaches to periodontal health, utilizing 24 years of experience to develop targeted, individualized treatment plans for every patient. Dr. Kathleen McCombs received an MSD in periodontics from the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she also earned certification in intravenous sedation. Having recently traveled to Guatemala on a humanitarian mission, Dr. Kathleen McCombs witnessed the effects produced by a prolonged lack of dental hygiene services. Many of the villagers Kathleen McCombs treated exhibited symptoms of advanced periodontitis, partially because they lacked access to proper dental care, and partially because they had no knowledge of preventative periodontal maintenance. Through her private practice in the United States, Dr. Kathleen McCombs remains devoted to offering her patients the best care possible, in addition to continuing her involvement in periodontal education and activism. Dr. Kathleen McCombs is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Western Society of Periodontology, and the Utah Dental Political Action Committee, among other organizations.
