Kathryn is a visual thinker who explores the intersection of words and images. As a public relations instructor at the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication, she teaches business writing, strategic communication and the visual display of complex information.

Prior, Kathryn worked for Edelman PR in NYC where she advised Fortune 500 clients.

She earned a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the UO in 2011 with a focus on representation.

Kathryn studied drawing at the Cooper Union, the Art Student’s League and attended Career Discovery at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

With a bachelor’s degree in English from Drew University, she combines her interests in visual design, financial communication and writing to and prepare students for the professional world after graduation.
