With more than 12,000 customers, Community TechKnowledge serves many of the world’s largest nonprofits, including Catholic Charities, the YWCA and YMCA, and the United Way.

Kathryn Engelhardt-Cronk established Community TechKnowledge with the objective of meeting the unique technology needs of nonprofits, needs that include centralized funder and client data collection, and comprehensive impact-outcomes reporting. Over time, Ms. Engelhardt-Cronk co-designed three software platforms, each integrated with specific tools and programs customized for nonprofits. For instance, the affordable and flexible Apricot software provides solutions for case management, volunteer, and outcomes tracking specifically for human services providers and arts and environmental advocacy groups. Another platform, the OnlineDataManager (ODM), helps nonprofits securely collect and report on information related to clients, services, programs, staffing, volunteers, and collaborations. Lastly, Ms. Engelhardt-Cronk also co-created the Community Impact ODM, an allocation and grant application system.

Kathryn Engelhardt-Cronk not only delivers technical tools that nonprofits require through Community TechKnowledge, she also provides them with the support and resources they need to operate the software as efficiently as possible. The company’s award-winning customer service model helps nonprofit staff with volunteer tracking and outcomes, and grant management. Outside of the office, Kathryn Engelhardt-Cronk leads by example and helps run several nonprofits, including the CTK Foundation, for which she serves as President, and the Austin Museum of Art, for which she sits on the Advisory Committee.
