Kathy Shaidle is a Toronto-based author, copywriter, web content editor and freelance writer.

My commercial copy has generated millions of dollars for corporate and non-profit clients. I've done everything from ghostwriting (and ghost-tweeting!) to writing full page newspaper ads, white papers, brochures & annual reports.

I've written website copy for roofing companies, funeral homes, cleaning services, electronics recyclers, as well as online news sources and major charities.

Highlights include writing a daily email newsletter for a major U.S. radio personality, as well as long-running weekly columns for WND.com, the Catholic Register, the Catholic New Times, Taki's and PJMedia.

I've also written books of my own; my first, a poetry collection, was nominated for Canada's highest literary award. My other books include "God Rides a Yamaha," "A Catholic Alphabet," "Confessions of a Failed Slut" and "Society of Losers."

I've managed social media accounts (Facebook, Youtube and Twitter) for numerous clients along with my own.

I'm a blogging pioneer, having launched my first blog in 2000, which I still post to daily. As a result, I'm adept at using all content management systems, both proprietary and off-the-shelf.

My work has appeared in major daily newspapers such as the Dallas Morning News and the Toronto Star (where I had a long-running religion and culture column) and magazines such as Catholic World Report, The Alberta Report, The Western Standard and The Door. I've also been interviewed by MSNBC, Vatican Radio, CBC (radio and television) and other major outlets.

I also know a thing or two about SEO, having achieved Page One Google rankings for many of own sites and those of my clients.

My special expertise focuses on history, politics, religion and pop culture.

I can provide excellent references.

And on top of everything else: Yes, I was "Ed Anger" at the Weekly World News.
