Kathy R. Cook

I am a desert lizard, born and raised in Tempe, Arizona. I now live in the nearby town of Chandler, Arizona, with my husband and three nutty dogs.We have two wonderful grown daughters who are pursuing careers in the health field and making us very proud. I enjoy living where the sun shines an average of 342 days a year and love spending time with my family. I also enjoy reading, beading, hiking, and learning about health and nutrition.

I am interested in educational technology, and I enjoy discovering and exploring new technology tools and resources and sharing them with other educators. I work for the University of Phoenix as a Director of Educational Technology in the College of Education. In this role, I am involved in the integration of technology in the College of Education's courses and programs and other technology initiatives within the college and the university. I also enjoy teaching for the University of Phoenix and helping other people work toward their goals of becoming educators. I am currently pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership with a specialization in educational technology.
