Kathy Love | Attorney

Attorney Kathy Love, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, focuses on making a difference in the lives of people facing unfair criminal accusations or suffering from wrongful treatment or negligence at the hands of large corporations and insurance companies. A partner at the Albuquerque firm of McGinn, Carpenter, Montoya & Love, P.A., she spent four years serving as a New Mexico public defender before working in the private sector. Kathy Love balances her career with family and nonprofit involvement. The Albuquerque resident provides pro bono work through New Mexico Legal Aid and Equal Access to Justice. She also passionately supports women’s rights groups. She has served as president and board member of NARAL Pro Choice New Mexico and as board member of NARAL Pro Choice America. In her free time, she enjoys river-rafting, backpacking and camping with her son and husband.
