Katie Connell

A student at Morristown-Beard School in New Jersey, Katherine Connell has international experience in helping others. In the summer of 2014, Katie Connell went to Costa Rica with a group called Rustic Pathways, which emphasizes service projects in 18 countries. Katie Connell taught English to children and painted houses, and she anticipates a trip to China in 2015.
An active person, Connell has played volleyball since the sixth grade and is currently on the junior varsity squad. She began playing lacrosse at Morristown-Beard as a freshman and hopes to continue through high school.
Connell enjoys reading and watching television. She reads mysteries and romances and counts The Fault in Our Stars by John Green as her favorite novel. Her must-watch television series include Lost, the Walking Dead, and Gray's Anatomy.
Mathematics is her best subject; overall, she maintains a 3.6 grade point average. After high school, she wishes to attend college in California.
