Katie Erickson
Electrical Engineer, Writer, and Editor in Findlay, Ohio
I worked as an electrical engineer for 17 years, but God called me to go to seminary to earn an M.Div and now a D.Min degree, and to leave the field of engineering.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Ohio Northern University in 2003, and my Master of Divinity from Winebrenner Theological Seminary in 2010, with a specialization in Biblical Languages. I have taught Biblical Hebrew and some Biblical Greek in a few different opportunities since the fall of 2010. I started working on my Doctor of Ministry degree in September 2020, expecting to graduate in July 2023.
From July 2007 through December 2020, I worked full-time for Ridge & Associates, Inc. as an electrical design engineer, designing power and controls systems for fuel terminals.
Starting in January 2021, I left engineering and began working for Church Doctor Ministries part-time and continuing my freelance book editing and publishing work at Katie Erickson Editing.

* Appear monthly on the weekly Do Not Keep Silent radio show
* Do speaking engagements on various Biblical topics
* Wrote 5 books (and counting), which you can find here
* Edit books, format books, design book covers, and assist with self-publishing of books
* Work as Alumni Coordinator for Winebrenner Seminary
* Preach at various churches (pulpit supply) when requested
* Teach Biblical Hebrew weekly to multiple students, or Greek as the need arises
* Manage the 8 rental properties my husband and I own in northwest Ohio
Outside of that, my hobbies are crocheting, knitting, eating chocolate, and hanging out with my pet cats, frogs, and bearded dragons.
