Hi there! I'm Katie. I work at The Poynter Institute, where I get to geek out and train others about exciting trends in the journalism industry. Prior to that, I was the editor of iReport, CNN's global participatory news community.

I adore my amazing husband and sweet dog, getting to know Florida's quirks and charms, hosting parties, going on adventures, and dreaming up new and crazy ideas. Most of all, I love following through on those crazy ideas.
