Kayla Lemmon

Kayla was born and raised in Seattle and is a true Seattlelite at heart (Yes, being a Seahawks fan comes with the territory).

She was baptized into the Mormon church at age 19 and dove right into school at BYU-Idaho shortly after joining. She calls Idaho her second home because of how much she loved her college years there. Kayla worked all four years at the campus news station as reporter, producer, and eventually news director. She helped implement a student-led broadcast that is still aired to this day on Southeastern Idaho's ABC affiliate KIFI, and began a campaign called "Our Daughters" which helps to reach out to girls entrapped in child-trafficking situations around the world and raise funds.

Kayla graduated from BYU-Idaho with a degree in Communication and married her sweetheart, Matt, shortly before that walk in her cap and gown.

She now lives in her hometown of Seattle again with her husband and her two playful bunnies, Manning and Wilson.

Kayla is a freelance journalist and blogger and works in sales. She enjoys meeting amazing people every day who are connected with inspiring stories.
