Kayla Lemmon

Kayla was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and is a true Seattlelite at heart (Yes, being a Seahawks fan comes with the territory).
She was baptized at age 19 into the Mormon church and dove right into school at BYU-Idaho shortly after joining. She calls Idaho her second home because of how much she loved her college years there.
For over 8 years Kayla has worked in reporting, producing, directing, and freelance journalism, eventually beginning her blog lemmonythings.com a year ago, which has generated millions of views. She also founded and leads "Our Daughters", a charity which helps to reach out to girls entrapped in child-trafficking situations around the world and to raise funds and awareness.
Kayla graduated from BYU-Idaho with a degree in Communication and married her sweetheart, Matt, shortly before graduation.
When Kayla isn't writing, she's outdoors. She loves the water, plays tennis, and can't get enough of traveling.
She now lives in Washington again with her husband and her two bunnies, Manning and Wilson.
Her favorite part of writing is meeting the amazing people who inspire her stories.
