Kayleigh Audrey Catherine Gilbert was born in a quaint little town in South Africa called Ermelo.

Iain and Ronelle Gilbert are entrepreneurs who started– Gilbert’s Mining & Industrial CC - which provides equipment and other services to coal mines all over Africa. They also own a beautiful horse riding ranch in the countryside near Johannesburg

Kayleigh has a very big family – 5 brothers and 2 sisters – she has most definitely had her fair share of adventures! She took part in off road motocross, athletics, swimming, diving, netball, dancing, singing and horse riding. Gradually she concentrated mainly on horse riding, dancing and modeling. She won a national show jumping competition, among many other awards.( She can even ride side saddle)

Most consistent throughout Kayleigh’s life was her love of the dramatic arts. Whether it be acting, singing, dancing or modeling, Kayleigh thrives on performing. But there is nothing more important to Kayleigh than her family.

When she leaves The Lee Strasberg Institute she aspires to become a successful working actress; her life’s dream. She also wants to begin writing, producing and directing as she is interested in all aspects of filmmaking and the entertainment industry.

Kayleigh would like to travel the world, learn more about different cultures and use all of her work experiences to be a better artist.
