Okanagan raised, I have an unwavering love for hot summers, good wine, and impeccable people. I now call Vancouver home, and have for the past three years. My vast goals drove me to the big city in 2008 and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.
A graduate of the Marketing Management program with a major in Communications from BCIT in 2010, I was actively engaged in the collegiate chapter of the Association of Integrated Marketers (AIM), serving as First Year Business Liaison and Vice President of the association in my final year. I also served as co-chair for the annual Schmoozapalooza event, responsible for the planning and execution of the program-wide industry networking event for upwards of 250 industry, alumni, and students. Prior to graduation, I explored my interest in Public Relations and interned with a fantastic boutique agency, Pereira PR, in my final semester.
My passion for social media, technology, and sports would later be catapulted into action, thanks in large part to being able to experience the Vancouver 2010 Olympics first hand. An avid sport enthusiast, my love for sports and community soon became the focus for my career. Since graduation, I have worked various freelance positions and landed a gig on the Digital Team at lululemon athletica. I now work at Village&Co. A unique agency dedicated solely to social media in Vancouver.
If there are three things you need to know about me, it would be that I’ am highly sarcastic, I don’t drink hot drinks (but would love to meet with you while you enjoy one), and I will likely always be seen wearing something that is black.
