I get asked all the time why I chose a career in mapping, when it seems like the world has already been completely explored. I actually love when this happens because I get to point out that the world is constantly changing, and our maps have to change with it. That's where I come in.
After graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Geography and a certificate in Geographic Information Sciences (GIS), I spent a year as a GIS Specialist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in West Virginia helping map locations of endangered species. I am now back in Atlanta, where my focus is on environmental transportation mapping.
I am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to deliver innovative mapping solutions.
