Hello, everyone and welcome to my page! I am a Master's student in the Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs progam at Texas Tech University looking soon to start a career as a student affairs professional. I am the Learning Specialist Graduate Assistant in Athletic Academic Services at Texas Tech University.

I am passionate about higher education and I really enjoy working with college students. I also have a sense of humor, or at least I think so. I am interested in the development of learning styles and strategies, working with students to foster independent learning, finding the strengths in others, and motivating and inspiring those around me.

I am also very passionate about dance. I enjoy most forms of dance and love to watch dance performance. I currenly perform with Flatlands Dance Theatre in Lubbock, Texas and I teach modern dance at Texas Tech University. I am a lifelong learner, a lover of life, a glass half full kind of gal, and I like to think that everyone has their own mission in life set forth by the big man upstairs.... Just trying to figure mine out and follow it for the rest of my life!

My overall goal as a student affairs professional is to create and foster a comfortable learning environment for students, to produce independent learners, and to equipt college students with the tools they need to be successful after college.
