I am a digital compositor.  An integrator of 2D & 3D elements for the creation of complex animations and photo-real visual effects for television and film. 

In layman's terms: I enhance the practical photography with computer assisted visuals and computer generated graphics.  Duties also include keying/matting, color correction, digital painting, and rotoscoping. 

I also hide things the film makers don't want the audience to see: backgrounds, green screens, rigs, safety equipment, wrinkles and even love handles.  Speed changes also come across my desk frequently as action scenes need more adrenaline, or actors need assistance with their timing.
