Keir Weimer

Keir Weimer is originally from Manlius, a suburb of Syracuse, NY, and currently resides in Saratoga Springs, NY. He graduated from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and economics. He’s worked twice overseas, holding analyst positions at both Xerox Europe and Oneida Ltd. in London, U.K. He’s also worked briefly for a private equity, holding and consulting firm in Manhattan.

While these positions in large, multinational corporations provided good experience and exposure, Mr. Weimer has always been an entrepreneur at heart. In January of 2012, he decided to found and became President of his own real estate investment and holding firm, The Thistle Island Group, LLC.

Not wanting to detract from his main career path and goals—but rather wanting to grow his real estate investment firm in tandem—Keir Weimer joined the Select Sotheby’s International Realty organization in early 2013 as a Licensed Realtor® in the State of New York. Mr. Weimer has always enjoyed building relationships, growing businesses and adding value to whatever endeavor he commits to. He brings an extensive knowledge of the area and the Adirondack Park, and is excited to be a part of the Select Sotheby’s International Realty team. Keir Weimer brings a unique enthusiasm to achieving the goals of his clients with the utmost integrity, expertise and market intelligence.

Keir Weimer has also come to embrace pursuits as both a writer and an active inspirational speaker, telling his story and carrying his message forward to students and a variety of audiences throughout New York State. Keir enjoys reading, writing, traveling and exploring new areas and challenges in life. He’s a accomplished triathlete, alpine and water skier, all-season hiker, sailor and all-around outdoor and Adirondack enthusiast.
