Keith D. Armstrong

Keith D. Armstrong, Former Washington State Assistant Attorney General Born and raised in the heart of America, God’s country, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Academically trained at Oklahoma State University receiving BS in Business Administration. Mr. Armstrong obtained his law degree at Washburn University School of Law in Kansas, the “Land of Oz.” The urge to marry a beautiful queen and live happily ever after drew him to the West. Since all roads from the Land of Oz leads to the Emerald City, Mr. Armstrong ended up in Seattle. His practice landed him at the Washington State Human Rights Commission investigating discrimination complaints then to the Attorney General’s Office in Seattle. Mr. Armstrong has represented the Department of Licensing, Employment Security Department as defense attorney in over 750 cases in superior court, court of appeals and WA Supreme Court. He won over 500 of the 800 cases....evidence that there is a God. He represented the Department of Health as a prosecutor in medical malpractice against doctors, nurses, pharmacists and podiatrists. Mr. Armstrong has litigated hundreds of cases in administrative law, civil law and appellate laws. Mr. Armstrong has become a specialist in settling controvercies (90% ratio) so that most cases do not go to a hearing. Mr. Armstrong now serves the people as a Contract Consultant with the State of Washington, Office of State Procurement. He administers and manages contracts worth over ½ billion dollars and consults with agencies and companies dealing with purchasing and technology. Mr. Armstrong speaks five languages, Japanese, English, 4 lines of French, teenage lingo (street talk) and of course country-bumpkin lingo from Oklahoma. Mr. Armstrong has studied international and administrative law in London, England, France, Italy and Japan. In 1996, Mr. Armstrong was invited to lecture on criminal procedure and a legal analysis of the O.J. Simpson trial to law students in Tokyo, Japan. Today, he lives in Spanaway with that beautiful queen he married in the Emerald City and serves the citizens of this State. Help me welcome to the stage....
