Keith Lamy

Board certified by The American Board of Family Medicine, Inc., and licensed to practice medicine by the Texas Medical Board, Dr. Keith Lamy currently functions as the Medical Director of Family Medicine Practice in Austin, Texas, serving in this position since May of 2001. In his capacity as Medical Director, Dr. Keith Lamy prescribes modes of treatment for both child and adult patients, provides diagnoses of conditions, and facilitates excellence in service and performance among the staff at Family Medicine Practice.

A proponent of holistic approaches to medicine, he has maintained certification from The American Board of Family Medicine, Inc., since 1988. In addition to his work with the Family Medicine Practice, Dr. Keith Lamy also serves on the faculty of The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He also holds active privileges at St. David’s Medical Center in both North and South Austin and at Seton Hospital. Coupling 25 years of experience in the practice of family medicine with an extensive formal education, Dr. Keith Lamy strives to ensure that the patients of Family Medicine Center receive the best level of care possible.

In 1988, Dr. Keith Lamy was selected for a residency in medicine with the University of California, San Diego, after completing an internship there. From 1981 to 1985, Dr. Keith Lamy earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from New York’s Mount Sinai Medical Center, and he attended Boston University for his undergraduate education. A resident of Austin, Texas, Dr. Keith Lamy is fluent in English and Spanish and enjoys traveling, dining, practicing yoga, and attending the opera and symphony in his free time. A literature afficianado, Dr. Keith Lamy also reads extensively and cites William Faulkner, Miguel de Cervantes, and Edgar Allen Poe as his favorite authors.
