Keith Anthony McKenna

Mr. McKenna and his partner, Timothy McIlwain, have built a highly skilled team of attorneys with a diverse array of practice areas. Mr. McKenna focuses his efforts on banking litigation, privacy matters, malpractice suits, and environmental law. Mr. McIlwain focuses on employment, personal injury, and privacy litigation. He has served as defense counsel for Donald Trump’s casinos and hotels, and represented Walmart as exclusive counsel for the corporation’s work-related injury cases. McKenna McIlwain has played a significant role in the development of entertainment and sports litigation. When former college football and NFL players objected to having their likenesses appear in interactive video games that made millions without permission from or compensation for the athletes, the firm brought suit against the game makers. In addition, the firm has successfully represented clients in legal disputes with Comcast Corporation, the Philadelphia Flyers, and the World Hockey Association. A native of Verona, New Jersey, Keith A. McKenna earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University in South Orange. Mr. McKenna belongs to the American Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He has gained admittance to the New Jersey and New York state bars. Keith A. McKenna has lent his personal support to sports programs as well. In 2005, he assisted in the establishment of a youth soccer foundation called the West Essex United Soccer Club. Operating under the regulations established by New Jersey Youth Soccer and the United States Soccer Federation, Inc., West Essex today serves more than 150 youth who participate in two 10-game seasons per year, in the spring and the fall. Mr. McKenna himself enjoys playing golf in his free time.
