I'm a young professional with more than seven years of public relations experience, living and breathing the B2C space, specializing in food/beverage, hospitality and health/wellness lifestyle communications. I have expertise in strategic planning and media relations, content creation and brand ambassador and event management.

I currently reside as a brand strategist and media relations consultant / freelancer, managing a number of consumer national clients. Some of my notable media placements include: The New York Times, TIME magazine, USA Today, Travel + Leisure, Men's Health, Women's Health, Working Mother, Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times.

In past positions, I have supported a multi-location U.S.-based resort, restaurant openings, an iPad application launch, and a number of high-profile spokesperson campaigns for Quaker Oats and Kraft Foods. I have also worked with a number of influential brand ambassadors and spokespersons including, Bob Harper of "The Biggest Loser", Miranda Cosgrove of "iCarly," American Idol, Jordin Sparks and Marcus Samuelsson of "Top Chef Masters". Some of my past clients include Burger King, Kraft Foods, Morton's Steak House, NBTY: Osteo Bi-Flex, Olive Garden, Optimum Nutrition and Quaker Oats.

I have additional experience supporting global consumer and corporate practices with clients such as Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and higher education clients, like DeVry University and Northwestern University's- Kellogg School of Management. My previous agency experience includes, MWWPR, Edelman Public Relations, MSL Group and Today's Chicago Woman magazine.

Outside of the office, I am an active member Camp Campbell - an organization of Campbell Soup Co., comprised of professional and influential women in food and business. I am also auxiliary board member for non-profit charity Reading in Motion, and mentor at-risk youth through the Chicago SPARK program.

In my spare time, I embrace all that Chicago has to offer, travel as often as possible, write and try new restaurants regularly.

Education: I hold a B.A. in Marketing Communications, with a concentration in Public Relations, from Columbia College Chicago.
