In my professional life, I’m a communicator, a business leader and a community volunteer. In my academic life, I’m a teacher, cheerleader, mentor and adviser.

Doing PR.

I have more than a dozen years of public relations experience with a focus on research, planning and strategy. In my career, I’ve been directly responsible for high-level communication, strategic planning, budget management and leadership for a wide variety of clients. I'm particularly interested in and have an aptitude for digital strategy and helping organizations large and small navigating their options for maximum results.

Teaching PR.

My work with undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism & Communication has required me to stay on the cutting edge of research and practice in public relations. It’s also given me a chance to work with some of the most talented educators and researchers I know. I currently serve as the area director of the PR sequence.
