Kelly Jean Marion

My strong passion for people, culture and the arts drives most of the decisions in my life. I love to try new things so as to expand my interests, broaden my horizons and increase my social network. Sometimes (often) this means putting myself outside of my comfort zone but it's these experiences that have made me who I am today.

I am currently a Marketing Coordinator at CEFA Early Learning and a freelance writer/photographer, but I have held a variety of different roles when it comes to work. I previously worked as a Marketing Coordinator with a CRM Software Company in the Real Estate Industry and as an Engineering Technical Assistant at BC Hydro. Through both of those jobs I learned a lot, was exposed to many new things and met some incredible people.

My interests include the outdoors, traveling, writing, food, wine, cycling and sunshine. I am a go-go-go kind of person and hope that I will continue to keep my energy levels, my audacity to learn and my willingness to try new things.

I am constantly taking on new initiatives and am involved in many local organizations. I am on the Web and Communications team for Car Free Vancouver, a "FunCity Editor" for the Vancouver Observer and BeeVanCity, an affiliate for Foodie Card, and a partner with Eat Drink Be Local.
