Kelly Sheridan

Hey there, I'm Kelly, business tech journalist and associate editor for cybersecurity website Dark Reading (UBM). I spend most of my time learning and writing about digital threats targeting companies with a particular focus on cloud and endpoint security.

I've been in tech for about five years. My career started at Insurance & Technology, where I covered financial tech before moving to cover enterprise IT (specifically Microsoft) at InformationWeek. After about 1.5 years, I jumped into security and have been here ever since. I'm a proud alum of Villanova University, where I learned to love college basketball and the Oxford comma.

If I'm not researching articles you can find me running or researching flights. I love to travel and work remotely, which started with Remote Year - a program that took me to 12 global cities in as many months. I'm fluent in bad puns and sarcasm, and like good coffee in giant mugs.
