I'm a California native and college sports PR professional with a bachelor's in communication with a minor in black studies from UC Santa Barbara. Despite my attachment to the Left Coast and Pacific Ocean, I headed to a landlocked state and got my master's at the University of Tennessee, where I also gained some serious college sports PR experience, working with the Lady Vols. 

Lately, I've returned to my roots in the Bay Area and spend my work life doing media relations and sports information, web mastering and video coordinating for the Cal State East Bay Pioneers. 

When I'm not at the office, I can be found playing and watching sports (especially baseball, futbol, college hoops and cycling), reading, watching something British, cheering on my Vols and Gauchos, geeking out about science (and bugs) or researching how to fix something myself. I love learning new things, making friends through social media and pretending to be an amateur cook/baker.
