True fact: I have always been offered big jobs during hurricanes. I moved from O-town (aka Orlando) straight to the shores of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina as a hurricane barreled down on the coast. My break from TV news and weather and the fast pace of hard news/nightly lead story arrived with two sets of kids. During this break, I studied while my kids slept and secured my Real Estate License.
Interviewing yet again with hurricane coverage as background noise, this time in Palm Beach County, I stepped up from an agent role into a leadership position to lead a market center of real estate agents during “The Shift” in the market. Today, I help sellers throughout Palm Beach and Martin County and work with buyers referred from my close sphere of Cross Fit athletes who share my passion for fitness and daily dose of challenge.
The Palm Beach County area is a 2nd home, 3rd home, and vacation home area. We call them "seasonal", "snowbirds" and sometimes wonder why another vehicle trucks their cars to and from states with arctic temperatures. I partner with these high end buyers and sellers along with my most recent International buyers joining us from Germany, Poland and Sweden. On occasion, I run a few 5k's a year (...love the Run for the Pies on Thanksgiving!) I am learning to “like” rowing during CrossFit. Truly I’d rather run since there is always some potential story behind everything you observe on any path.
