Kenneth Eng (Vancouver)

Kenneth Eng is a Canadian executive manager currently residing in British Columbia, Canada. Mr. Eng’s experience as an executive manager has been acquired over the years by working with such notable organizations as Re/Max Realty, the David Suzuki Foundation and the Fraser Academy. After earning his B.A. degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia, Mr. Eng worked in various capacities at RBC and Dataphile Software where he was instrumental in the growth of this high tech company. Afterwards, Mr. Eng joined Fraser Academy as its Business Manager. Fraser Academy is a private, Vancouver-based school that teaches children who have language-based learning difficulties. As Business Manager, among other things, Mr. Eng successfully implemented a school bursary program for low-income families.

In 2006, Mr. Eng made a transition from the Fraser Academy and began a position as Director of Finance and Administration at The David Suzuki Foundation, a science-based, non-profit environmental organization operating in Vancouver. Mr. Eng successfully balanced a yearly budget of $10 million dollars, improved company accounting measures and helped stimulate communication between the foundation’s project managers and other personnel. Mr. Eng also began serving as a management consultant to businesses around the Vancouver area. As a consultant, Mr. Eng enjoyed a three-year contract with Canadian sports company, Second Wave Sports. Mr. Eng reduced shrinkage at the Second Wave Sports by at least $10,000 annually, and also reduced the company’s tax amount by 15%.

After success as a director at The David Suzuki Foundation, in 2010, Mr. Eng transitioned to a director position at The North Shore Disability Resource Centre in North Vancouver. As Director of Finance and Operations, Mr. Eng furthered his management and company review skills by carefully scrubbing the centre’s annual audit reports and developing objective-based manager reports.

In 2013, Mr. Eng gained experience in the realty market serving as General Manager at the notable, Re/Max Lifestyles Realty. It served as an opportune moment for Mr. Eng to learn more about the real estate business, and also broaden his executive management skills. Mr. Eng supervised a 130 real estate professionals in three different Canadian municipalities. Today, Mr. Eng is continuing his management consultant work and working to complete his MBA at Heriot Watt University.
