Kenneth Kulp MD

A Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Kenneth Kulp, MD, founded Kulp Dermatology in Cary, North Carolina. The practice focuses on the treatment of a wide range of dermatologic concerns, including acne, psoriasis, and rosacea. In addition to his responsibilities with his practice, Kenneth Kulp, MD, serves on the consulting staff at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Dr. Kenneth Kulp began laying the foundations for his career at the College of William and Mary, earning a tennis scholarship to fund his studies there. He then transferred to the University of North Carolina, where he completed a degree in zoology. While there, he earned placement in Phi Beta Kappa, a respected national honor society. After his graduation, he gained acceptance to the University of North Carolina School of Medicine to earn a Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Kulp continued his training in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where he completed a surgical internship and residency with Hershey Medical Center, and in Memphis, Tennessee, with a dermatology residency at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences.

An active contributor to his field, Kenneth Kulp, MD, maintains affiliations with a variety of professional organizations. These include the American Medical Association, the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the North Carolina Medical Society, and the Dermatology Foundation's Century Club. He has received a number of awards and commendations throughout the course of his career, including the Physician's Recognition Award of the American Medical Association and the Continuing Medical Education Award of the American Academy of Dermatology.

When not fulfilling his professional responsibilities, Dr. Kulp gives back to his community through philanthropic activities such as cancer fundraising. In his spare time, he enjoys walking, swimming, biking, and participating in triathlons with his two adult daughters and his grandson.
