Hello. This is a sort of an intersection of professional-personal life, this page. Officially, I am an "Instructional Designer". But my career has been a bit circuitous. I believe most Instructional Designers or anyone in a Design field can relate. I vaguely recall telling my family at one point early in my education I wanted to work with technology and people. I promptly became a Humanities major, that somehow added a minor in Computers in the Humanities. That lead to a Master's in Educational Psychology, with an emphasis in Instructional Design and Educational Technology. My career has been just as varied: computer lab attendant, HTML coder, Spanish translator, Technology Instructor, researcher, Graphic Designer, magazine designer, non-profit trip coordinator, Production Assistant, Project Manager, Subject Matter Expert interviewer, curriculum development and yes, for the past seven years, Instructional Designer.

For me, the field of education and training is fascinating. I just cannot get enough of it. I have to research and analyze. I enjoy keeping up with trends and technology. It may sound cliche, but for me life is learning. There are lessons everywhere, in anything we do. Formal, informal. I enjoy assisting experts, teachers, and trainers find the lessons they want to share with their students and audiences, through the methods and tools appropriate for their instruction and environment.

Thank you for stopping by, and please feel free to ask me any questions. I peruse my Tumblr dash daily. I'm trying to keep up with my Twitter feed. In this networked life we live, we'll find each other... eventually.
