Kerry Marie Allen, OTR/L

Kerry Allen is an Occupational Therapist and has worked in the acute hospital, home health and skilled nursing settings since 2006. She currently works with adult clients assisting them in regaining function in their everyday lives. Kerry enjoys helping others achieve their maximum level of independence so they can live to the fullest.

Her goals are to assist clients in achieving independence and supplying the best possible care. She strives to advance her knowledge and skill through the application of therapeutic techniques, continuing education courses, and obtaining supplementary certifications to provide the best client centered care.

As a Rehab Manager Kerry has experience planning therapy minutes, communicating with other departments, and providing conflict resolution. She has optimized departmental functions and delivered client centered treatments while working with a multi disciplinary team for the betterment of her clients. Kerry has also consistently helped exceed profit margins through planning, supervising, and aiding staff members in achieving greater productivity than needed.

At home Kerry is a wife of fifteen years and a mom of a creative little girl and sweet boy/girl twins. She goes tent camping on the weekends, loves reading anything she can find, and being in the water. Originally from the Cincinnati, Ohio area she moved to Kentucky at the age of sixteen leaving only briefly for her university studies. Upon graduating Kerry moved to the Louisville, Kentucky area where she lived for more than 8 years before coming to Ashland, KY where she lives now.
