I'm a retail manager (10+ years) turned graphic artist and full time writer and editor of WeGotKidz.com. Growing up in Wilmington, NC, I received the amazing opportunity to write a weekly “teen” column for the Star News.

After graduating high school, I moved to Greensboro, North Carolina where I attended NC A&T State University and neurotically pursued multiple degrees (simply because I couldn’t decide on just one). There I successfully published a poem (yes, one), and a few short stories.

My current babies are WeGotKidz.com – a "funky-fresh" parenting and lifestyle guide, and the curly kid natural hair resource Curlz.WeGotKidz.com.

I currently reside in Atlanta, GA with my lovely husband and twins AJ and Jax.
