Hi and thanks for visiting my page. I'm an open-wheel auto racing historian and writer living in Walnut Creek, California. I was born into a racing family; my great-uncle was Ernie Triplett, the 1931 and 1932 AAA Pacific Coast champion and 5-time time Indianapolis 500 starter. My articles appeared in print in The Alternate and National Speed Sport News, and online at www.Openwheelracers3.com. I am a long-time member of the Yahoo! Racing History Group (racinghistory.org), serve on the National Sprint Car of Fame and National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame induction committees, and provide both with research assistance for their induction presentations. While most of my articles mainly deal with auto racing history, I occasionally provide openwheelracers3.com with articles on current notable racing events in Northern California. I have published four books; Taking You Back! volumes one, two, and three which are historical racing essays and Let's go Racing- 2011 Race Reports, all are available on Amazon.com
