I am the author of IN THIS PLACE (2011) and IN EVERY PLACE (2012), candid missionary memoirs written from detailed journals of my family's years outside of the United States.
My husband Jeff and I have been missionaries since 1985 in Liberia and Ivory Coast, West Africa, with a short stint in Jamaica. In 2003, after a second African evacuation of home and ministry, we became campus missionaries at UNC-Charlotte with Campus Bible Fellowship International (a ministry of Baptist Mid-Missions).
I am the mother of three incredible young women, Michelle, Stefanie, and Lauren and the proud grandmother of two beautiful granddaughters, Layna and Elyse. I love teaching the Bible in a practical and interesting way, speaking to women on various subjects, blogging, and taking pictures of God's creation and my family.
