Kiran Dhillon

I have a PhD in Genetics from the University of Washington. Currently, I’m a postdoc studying chemotherapy resistance in breast cancer. In addition to my day job as a postdoc, I dabble in several other roles and side-projects. As chair of the institute’s student and postdoc association, I’m excited to introduce new ways to both engage and promote the success of our postdocs and graduate students. My interests in science outreach to the general public drive me to search for and to create new opportunities to communicate science to broad audiences. My new adventure in this direction is a science blog. Oh, and in my free time, I help organize film festivals! Why not?
