Zoe Kirshenberg

Student in New York

I am a second year M.A. student at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). My areas of study are International Economics and Latin America.

As a part of the SAIS program, I spent the 2015-2016 academic year in Bologna, Italy. In Italy, I took courses in English ranging from Modern Latin American Politics, Corporate Finance and International Trade Theory. It was a terrific opportunity to gain a European perspective on multifaceted issued. In between classes, I enjoyed being immersed in Italian culture including the food, language and medieval cities.

Over the summers, I have completed several internships. I have interned in the Latin America Firm Management Division at Morgan Stanley, in the Political Section of the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City and with Business Monitor International. Most recently, in the summer of 2016 I interned with Moven, a FinTech start up in NYC.

I received my B.A. from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. I majored in International Studies and Latin America. I am from NYC and I graduated from the NYC Lab High School for Collaborative Studies in 2012.

My interests include cooking, travel, soccer and running.
