Kirsten Rourke

Kirsten is a Speaker, Instructional Designer, Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI), and CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+). She has been teaching software, working as an Instructional Designer, and speaking at industry events since 2000.
She's also active in a dance troupe, and works hard to keep up with her very energetic "boys" (one in grade school and the other in his 50's).
She has presented for Wacom at the Boston Apple store, for Adobe at numerous industry conferences, user group meetings, and Adobe tour events, and for the eLearning Guild at industry conferences.

Kirsten Rourke uses her previous career skills in Occupational Therapy and her theater background to help transform people's relationship to technology training. She founded Rourke Training in2000, which provides instructional design and technical training services.
Her company, Rourke Training offers instructor-led, online, and blended learning programs for customized software and products like Adobe, Mac OS, and MS Office. Rourke Training works in partnership with other training vendors for instructional design and training services to provide coverage for large rollouts in addition to individualized custom training.
