Kirsty Ferguson

My name is Kirsty and I am 24 years old. I am married to my husband and we have been married for 5 years now and we have a beautiful 5-year-old little boy together.

My goal as a mother is to teach my son that God is more important than ANYTHING that this life offers and that his only satisfaction and fulfillment will come in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a regenerated heart.

I am a Calvinist, I am reformed, and I am not afraid to admit that. I am so blessed and thankful that God has opened up my eyes to the truth because just a few years ago I was completely blind to the truth in God's word and I believed as much of our family does. God used Paul Washer and his "Shocking Message" sermon to begin to draw me into the truth back in 2008 and ever since then, I have grown and learned so much and now I want to share what I have learned with others. I want other people to know the truth and for their eyes to be opened to the word of God as ours were.

I believe passionately that scriptures teach that a womans place is in the home NOT working outside of the home, especially when she is a mother and has children that live at home. I also believe that our responsibilities as mothers (and fathers) is to teach and educate our children at home, NOT to send them off to someone else (public AND/OR private schools).I believe that it is unbilical for women to work outside of the home and for children to be sent off to others to be educated. I am VERY passionate about that, and have lost many friends due to these beliefs. But I know what scripture teaches and I can believe nothing else. These are very controversial subjects, especially in the Christian community and among Christian women, but I stand here, I stand on the word of God and I can do nothing other.
