KJ Knies

KJ Knies is an award-winning writer, editor and director trained at USC and UCLA.

Knies is an innovator. He built his school's news broadcast from the ground up where it served Kentwood High School with daily broadcasts with a full crew of 30 students. Today, it continues to serve Kentwood with the help of his transition team that he put in place upon his departure.

He is an entrepreneur. He designed and implemented his own company, ANTIX.com, recieveing international distinction at DECA's International Career Development Conference 2012, the highest praise from one of the world's finest student business organizations.

Currently an undergraduate student at UCLA, Knies has been recognized internationally for his short films. From Cork, Ireland to a Top-5 selection at the USC New Voices Film Festival, he has found critical acclaim in all the shorts that he has been a part of.

He loves to work in teams but also a very driven individual. Conk TV, the student news broadcast he started at his high school, has been internationally recognized and won 2nd Place in a national school news broadcast competition.

He is a leader, and is driven to change the world.
