My name is Kelcie Kempenich, and I am currently a sophomore at The University of Wisconsin- Madison. I am pursuing a double major in Environmental Studies and Journalism and Mass Communication. Through studying and exploring various media platforms, I dream to someday be a part of an editorial team dedicated to environmental responsibility. I grew up in Stillwater, Minnesota, and attended my freshman year of college at Santa Barbara City College in Santa Barbara, Calif. In my free time I enjoy playing sports, traveling, getting involved with my sorority, Delta Gamma, and spending time with my friends, family and pets. I look forward to helping lead initiatives that focus on improving our environmental state, and making sustainable plans for our future.
