I am a structural geologist currently working as an Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia's Okanagan Campus. My research is aimed at shedding light on the processes that govern how mountain belts form through field projects examining the Nepalese Himalaya, Pakistan, and the Canadian Arctic. I am also Director of the Fipke Laboratory for Trace Element Research (FILTER), which houses multiple ICP and electron-beam instruments.
