I currently serve Community Unit School District 200 as principal of Lowell Elementary School in Wheaton, IL. Prior to that, I served as an elementary principal, junior high school assistant principal and an elementary school assistant principal in another Illinois district. In the classroom, I taught 6th grade students language arts and social studies. I earned a doctorate in Educational Administration at Northern Illinois University with a research focus in principal self-efficacy and technology behaviors. I hold an Illinois superintendent certificate, and I am a co-founder of #iledchat. I am passionate about bringing together pedagogy and technology to further student learning, and I am committed to making decisions based on what is best for children.
