Hi, I'm Jeff Kopp, a.k.a. kopper.

I'm a Production Artist/Proofreader for a design/marketing agency called Phoenix Creative and the Social Media Manager for the Baden-Powell Service Association. I also run the GaragePunk Hideout social network for fans of wild, untamed rock 'n' roll, old and new.

I'm also an ordained minister in the Church of the SubGenius (Dr. Kopper Feelgood) and a Rover scout/Timberwolf Pack Leader (Akela) for the BPSA's 66th Confluence scout group.

I've hosted several radio shows and podcasts over the years, including my last stint as host of The Wayback Machine on KDHX in St. Louis from 1995–2006, playing garage rock on the radio when playing garage rock on the radio wasn't cool. The last show I hosted was a podcast called Noise Annoys, which was also streamed on Real Punk Radio. I'll probably get back into podcasting again... someday.

I've won three "Best of St. Louis" awards from the Riverfront Times... the first two in 2003 for my now-defunct Lowlife Guide to St. Louis (Best Local Website) and The Wayback Machine (Best Rock Radio Program), and the third for Savage Kick (Best Podcast) in 2007.

I enjoy good beer, punk rock, baseball, ice hockey, corkball, B-movies, barbecue, history, science, geneaology, traditional scouting, progressive causes, freethought, dark humor, satire, secular humanism, environmentalism, and spending time with my family.
