KWADWO A. POKU is an interculturalist with significant experience in international education, diversity, and cultural competence development.

With over five years of strategic enrollment management experience, Kwadwo has helped advance internationalization and diversification efforts in higher education. A certified facilitator of intercultural and global business consulting, coaching, and training, Kwadwo has also worked on intercultural assignments across industries and countries. He has trained an executive level expatriate, medical interpreters, and advised organizational development consultants.

In the US, Kwadwo has diversified a small liberal arts college and a big ten university campus. Under his leadership, the enrollment of new international students more than doubled in one institution, and saw an 84% increase in applications from a key student population in the other institution.

He has overseen recruitment efforts for Africa, Southeast Asia, and Western Asia, including travel through the Middle East and Southeast Asia. He also co-taught a graduate level course on intercultural training.

In Ghana, he helped promote a local company's participation in international tourism events in the UK and Ghana. He also worked as a sales representative for a group of artists whose target audience were foreign clients.

Kwadwo has a Master of Arts in Intercultural Relations, with a concentration in Management, Leadership, and Training of Diverse Human Resources, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Communication. Kwadwo was awarded the Outstanding Leader for Diversity Award at Georgetown College, Georgetown KY.
