Saravanan Pitchai Pandiyan

NOC Team Lead

Hi,

I am 34 and I am not going to define myself with my Job Title. Well, I am still trying to define myself. Aren't we all ?

Although, for survival and to fulfil my childhood desires, I spend my time working in Technology as a Network Operations Center - Team Lead (Remotely for a Cloud Infrastructure Management company in the US) on weekdays which pays me to work Photography during weekends.

I am a single child of a hardworking couple. I am fortunate enough to have an opportunity to move in with my parents in the last couple of years during Covid, which gave me time to spend with them. More fortunate that my father spent his last months of his life with me at home.

I grew up and did my schoolings in Rajapalayam (TN). I grew up more and did my Under Graduate Degree (B.E) and Post Graduate Degree (MBA) in Chennai. This transformed Chennai to be my new hometown eventually, in the period of 2005 to 2021. Over that period of time I was able to move to UK during 2011 to 2013 to pursue my second PG (MS).
With the history of my Father having retired from Banking Sector and my Mother having retired from Medical Services; the two less taken roads, I had to take my highway even though it is the most taken one.

There are no such thing as “signs” of getting older. Its the late realisation that you should have adapted your current habits earlier. For example, I felt I am getting older when I starting finding pleasure in organising my room and the house during weekends. But then, I realised I have been missing out on the pleasure of tidiness during my childhood.

I am selective when it comes to dress and food; very limited one might say when one sees my small wardrobe and very shortlist of favourite food in multiple cuisines.

My other weekend plans would have a large variation from books to video games. I know you are wondering by now, “how many days does this guy have in his weekend ?" haha !

Well I don't want to spoil more for you about my story. I would like you to experience it in person, like I experience a good story in the good movies I watch during my loooong weekends.
:)
