I am a sixth grade teacher at Rosemont Ridge Middle School in West Linn. Currently, I teach English language arts, social studies, and pop culture. I graduated from the University of Portland School of Education in May 2015. My advanced student teaching placement was at David Douglas High School, where I had the opportunity to teach about India and China, two of my favorite countries, as well as human rights and the U.S. Civil Rights movement.

I graduated from Lewis & Clark College where, in addition to theatrical performance and music, I studied U.S.-Latin relations, Wilderness and the American West, modern European intellectual history, ancient China and India, physics, and linguistics. I have also studied at the Portland Actors' Conservatory, the Brody Theatre, Comedy Sportz, and the Paris Teacher Training Centre.

I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, traveling, and singing with my gospel choir.
