I'm a reporter with The Associated Press currently based in Oklahoma. I've reported from South Dakota, San Francisco, Arizona, Mexico, the Northern Mariana Islands, China and Samoa. In my spare time I'm writing a book about the people, places and events that have shaped Oklahoma's Main Streets. I enjoy exploring rural America and learning about little known cultures and parts of history. I don't know how to cook and DIY projects frustrate me.
