Life Sciences and Public Policy in Rochester, New York

40 years of loving life and serving others. Everything I have done in my life, I have strived to make a difference. I am a returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Bolivia 2000-2002); a Biologist for 10 years; an advocate for the Peace Corps, Food Security and Poverty reduction and now soon to be Masters of Science Graduate in Science & Technology Public Policy at Rochester Institute of Technology. I love politics and policy.

Politics

I am the co-founder of Peace Corps to Politics where we support Returned Peace Corps Volunteers who are running for office. We believe the more RPCVs are in political leadership position the more ethical and positive our political process can become. RPCVs and others who have served are committed to serving others.

Policy

My next steps after I finish my Masters thesis is to work for an organization that focuses on using science and technology to best inform the policies created. Science & Technology issues are complex and often hard to interpret and understand. As a Scientist for ten years, I can help translate these complexities into meaningful policy.
