City councilwoman Kristin Gaspar is the youngest person to ever be elected to that office in the history of Encinitas, California. The 30-year-old mother of 3 and CFO of a successful physical therapy practice, Ms. Gaspar received the most votes in a tough election race for 2 open seats in Encinitas’ recent election held in November, 2010.

She has been with Gaspar Doctors of Physical Therapy as CFO since 2002, having assumed that position after graduating as a Dean’s List scholar from the prestigious Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. Kristin Gaspar ran on a platform of fiscal responsibility while seeking the best results in city services for the residents of Encinitas.

Ms. Gaspar has been active in a variety of community-based organizations including her continuing service as the President of the San Dieguito Sports Medicine & Scholarship Foundation. She is the former president of the Encinitas Rotary Club, bringing this combined experience in organization and fiscal duties to her current post on the city council. Kristin Gaspar is dedicated to encouraging and supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs while preserving the quality of life for residents of Encinitas and cultivating public safety.
