Lauren Kritzer currently serves as NewsCred's Sr. Solutions Consultant. Previously to NewsCred, Lauren was the Chief Operations Officer at Applico and worked directly in partnership with the CEO and executive team on corporate development, expansion opportunities and business strategy.

Prior to Applico, Lauren has worked at Public Consulting Group, Inc. engaging directly with state and local education agencies focusing on school improvement planning, revenue maximization and web-based solutions for public school districts. Lauren has also worked at New England Consulting Group and Interbrand Corporation where she executed strategic marketing, management and brand solutions for Fortune 500 companies.

Ms. Kritzer is also very active in many educational and nonprofit initiatives. At Applico, she has formed partnerships with local nonprofits, like Pencils of Promise and has also taken on an advisory role for local startups. Most recently, Lauren started a women leadership organization called iTIE Network whose mission is to advance women’s footprint in leadership through facilitation of peer coaching, advising and mentoring. Ms. Kritzer also founded the Babson Rwanda Entrepreneurship Center (BREC) to help strengthen Rwanda’s entrepreneurial environment and an Education Assistance Program, Shaping New Horizons which helps support Bridgeport, CT’s inner city youth.

Lauren holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Babson College and is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society.
